In truth, Americans make up the majority of the Canadian EV market. Unfortunately, laws in Canada - and a handful of states in the US - mean that most electric vehicles simply aren’t fast enough to be considered “road worthy.”
In my opinion, hybrids would be better as “the norm” not a special class of car. Better yet, as a segue to non-gasoline models.
A wave of electric dreams are coming out of the Tokyo Auto Show. How many will continue to maturity is the big question.
