His conversion, considered an S-PHEV, cost roughly $3000. That’s half of the cheapest plug-in conversions on the market, and 1/4th the cost of the coveted OEMtek lithium-ion battery kit.

It’s not too often you see Republicans railing on about the benefits of hybrids, or benefits for eco-friendly consumers but for the THIRD TIME RUNNING, state rep. I can’t honestly say I’m going to be talking about Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles every Friday. I just though it was a catchy title. I do want to review them with you though because they’re a simple option for people who want the low emissions of an electric car without the (current) distance limitations.
