Blog leads to Volt Nation
Congrats to GM-Volt.com blogger, Lyle Dennis for organizing a Q&A with GM execs at the NY Auto Show. The session, dubbed “Volt Nation”, was attended by company vice chairman, Bob Lutz, among others. Readers came from all over the country to get a glimpse at the company’s latest plans for the car. Dennis has posted several video segments, and a recap of events online.
One thing I’m glad to see is the confidence of company execs that the car will be out in 2010. There were earlier reports that GM wasn’t sure that would happen. In any event, the company is absolutely, positively going ahead with the Volt - which may be the country’s first mass produced plug-in hybrid.
