Canada approves electric car - Go ZENN!
The ZENN - Zero Emissions, No Noise
Okay, I’m not claiming that I was the precipitating factor here or anything, but just days after posting about outdated Canadian EV laws, Transport Canada has given the ZENN the National Safety Mark. This means they meet Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, and that individual provinces can finally decide whether they can be used on public roads.
From CBC Canada:
Ian Clifford, founder of the ZENN Motor Company, said he was “pleased and surprised” to receive the safety mark after a long wait.
Of course, he was. Who knew I so convincing?? More importantly, why hasn’t this method worked in convincing my DH we need a Prius? I guess I need to step up my mojo. :p
