After posting this story on Major Automotive Group being the exclusive dealer for MILES electric cars in New York City, I heard from two readers saying that a dealership in Long Island was also an authorized dealer. I did what I said I would do and checked it out. Here was MILES’ response:

The folks over at CNNMoney.com are reporting on a new competitor on the electric front - Miles Automotive Group, founded by lawyer turned corporate head turned auto designer, Miles Rubin. He’s promising a $30k, 80mph sedan by 2009.
