At one time, the California Air Resources Board was plowing the way for green transportation incentives by requiring automakers to focus on zero emissions technology. In a frustrating move Thursday, they voted to lessen that obligation by 70%.

Over the last week or two, there have been an alarming number of reports of hybrids harming the environment.
His conversion, considered an S-PHEV, cost roughly $3000. That’s half of the cheapest plug-in conversions on the market, and 1/4th the cost of the coveted OEMtek lithium-ion battery kit.
Google has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to companies for research, development, and public awareness campaigns involving PHEVs and V2G.
I can’t honestly say I’m going to be talking about Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles every Friday. I just though it was a catchy title. I do want to review them with you though because they’re a simple option for people who want the low emissions of an electric car without the (current) distance limitations.
Because cars can be tree huggers too!
