Contest: Naming the Car of Tomorrow

by Hilary on January 28th, 2008

The Contest is Now Closed

Winners to be Announced Shortly

Thank you

That’s right folks. After careful consideration, EcoFriendlyDriver has decided to join the hybrid revolution. Not buying - oh no. I seriously don’t need another car. Nope. I’m designing one. Or, at least, planning one, but I need help knowing where to start. What’s a better place than the name, right? But I need your help. I need a name that will give the public absolutely no choice but to buy my car.

From now until Midnight (CST) on Sunday, February 3rd, leave your ideas in our comments section. Next Monday, I’ll choose 3 lucky winners who will win (thanks to the b5 tech editor, Jayvee, and software company, eSoft Interactive) a copy of Traffic Jam 2 for your Pocket PC, Smartphone, Windows Media or Palm OS compatible portable device, or Traffic Jam Extreme available on Mac or PC!

From eSoft
Traffic Jam 2 takes you through a too-common real-life scenario .. a parking lot jam. You’re job is to free up your sweet little yellow VW beetle. Awww. Even if this car wasn’t yours, you know you’d want to lend a hand.

In Traffic Jam Extreme, compatible with Windows and Mac OS X, your job gets a little more difficult as your job takes on all of Stresstropolis - a city with an amazingly similar layout to that of Manila.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves crafting a name that sums up the very essence of what people want and need in a hybrid. Really want. Underwater capabilities? Jet potential? Capuchino exhaust? Whatever you want, goes, as long as you can come up with a magnificent moniker to match.
