Flooding you with Eco-Friendly Goodness
Someone brought the cold from hell into our home, and I’ve had fevers, chills and marshmallow brain all week. For those of you subscribing to my blog feed … prepare for a busy weekend. ;)
(Dangit! I just posted this vs. saving it. MARSHMALLOW!)
Our Earth Day was spent hunkered down indoors taking care of sick kids, and explaining to bummed out friends why - no - they couldn’t play, and NO -no one could come inside and play our video games. :/
This week, our van finally went to the doctor and was fixed, but I’m seriously afraid of showing up sick and passing our bugs along. I love our mechanic. I could marry him, really. Well, Denn might not like that, and I doubt he’d be so keen on my wanting to use the car less, but … okay, so it just won’t work out. I still want to keep him as our go-to car guy. He works magic (as in, doesn’t charge out the hoohah for piddly crap). If you live in Iowa, send me a line. I’ll give you his information.
The public transportation challenge will have to wait for us until next week, but I hope it went well for all of you. Even if you don’t ride it regularly, knowing the particulars makes it that much easier to do. For that matter, let’s keep most of those Earth Day activities going all year.
